Hi Folks,

Just picked up the GRE500 and - together with ARC500 and Radioreference - it's very simple to work. There are two things I haven't figured out how to do with the software (which I may not be able to do at all). Both have to do with V folders.

Is it possible to open the V folder's object information into ARC500? In other words, can I open a *.vsc file the same as I would open a *.gr5 file? I acnj't do it from the Open command. It's no big deal and I can work around it - just checking to see if I missed something.

The next question regards renaming the V folders that are loaded on the scanner. If I store a configuration within the GRE500, I'm able to assign a name during the process. But if I load a new *.vsc file from the ARC500 software, it gets renamed to "ARC500". I found in the Global settings where tha folder neme is set, but this seems to apply to all V folders. Maybe this is the solution - but I can't find how the global gets uploaded. I thought "Global" universally covered all settings.

So, how can I rename a V folder that is on the GRE using the ARC500 software?
