help with scanner 996t
hello all i have the 996t im having 2 problems, 1- cannot get the scanner to reset, i am pressing and holding 2-9 turning scanner on, it just goes threw the norm and starts scanning. i some how got service searches and src tests some how in my regular scanning and cannot find a way to get them out, i have tried lo but does not work tried to lo all the bands just dont know so i would like to reset scanner but press and hold 2,9 is not working?????? next problem i would like to do a update to the scanner i have the original firmware in never did an update before i have the serial programming cable that came with the scanner heres the weird part i have a pretty new comp usoing windows vista but i see no where front or back on comp to put the cable into very strange. this is weird, any help on this thanks in advance for any help.
