Thumbs up

thank's guy's.marshall, just for the record.i know that i never believed it when you and paul said that the xt was going to be better than the t in the sensitivity dept.i said it before, and i'll say it again.boy was i wrong !. the xt has got to be the best portable scanner i've ever had. i've had plenty of them.while i enjoy base scanner's too,i'm mostly a portable fan. i know they have different design's.i do prefer the audio quality of the psr-500 over the xt.i also enjoy the 500's ability to eliminate the squelch tail. i'm not a big fan of listening to the click of the audio dropping out. i prefer the easy work around of having 25,000 channel's at your command, over v-folder's. i love the fire tone out search and function.the county to the south of me <n.j.> uses a 500 mhz.fire dispatch fq. i have a hard time picking it up on almost any radio.the xt pick's it up almost flawlessly. i sold off my psr-600 <well documented overload issue>. i look forward to the bcd996xt when it hit's the shelves. i don't think this thread will spawn a controversy among the people that have both radio's.
