Check out programming software for the 300 at
www.starrsoft.com . I think there was cable information on the site, but I can't find it now. You can order the cable off the net or wherever you purchase the radio. The software for the PSR-300 is called Win97 and will make your life a lot easier, especially if you put a lot of data into the radio.
