Firescannerbob and MASTRTECH are both correct. The only reason that your scanner would not work in the 800 mhz band after rebanding is if it is not capable of receiving in the 850 mhz range. It is my understanding that the only the only frequencies effected are 865 - 870 mhz. So if a control channel now is 866.6175 it will be 15 mhz lower 851.6125 mhz. So if you subtract 15 mhz from your current control channel you should be in fine shape after rebanding
