Smile Monitoing Airline to Tower SSB Transmissions

Hi everyone. It's been a long time. A while back, I was given a Wealth of information (with lists, maps, diagrams & Links, etc) in reply to an earlier post I made ( back in 2008 I think) asking just what I am hearing so often at night on 5.547 Mhz (with SSB) here in California (SF International Airport). I am the amusing Character who thought they were talking on their "CELL" phones, remember ? Well, I thought I had bookmarked everything a good number of you so kindly supplied, but unfortunately it appears that they have been deleted somehow.
Since this is my very favorite thing to listen to & also since I just got a great new little reciever (Yaesu VR-500) that also gets SSB (with a good antenna), I am anxious to get that information again so that I can program the various frequencies other than the one above into this new radio, as well as print out the lists, maps & charts of this overseas Plane -to -Tower Communication system.
Therefore, I was wondering if it would be too much to ask if you fine Friends out there would be so kind as to re submit the same information back to me in a reply post ? If you could do that, I would be ever so grateful. Thank you ahead of time & I promise that I will be more organized this time.
Respectfully,
Jimmy

I highly doubt that the MWARA towers for some of the PAC regions are at airports - they'd be way too tall and pose a significant hazard to navigation. Whoever told you that was dreaming...they're usually administered from a remote site, certainly not at a local (or international) airport.

Anyway these maps at the HF Underground wiki are quite detailed, and even though they come from 8 years ago, they haven't changed in all that time, surprisingly. All links are in blue...

The San Francisco HF ARTCC is actually in Fremont Ca at 5125 Central Ave. just east of the 880 freeway. If you have Google Earth go to street view and look at it. An HF antenna is at the northwest corner of the property.

@CapnJ: Other frequencies for San Francisco MWARA can be received very easily include:
5547
5574
6673
8843
11282

There are many others, but these should have you covered for the majority of comms (for the CEP area). See this map for other areas (still pretty accurate).

@DCMon: Is this the antenna you are referring to? I'd love to have one of these in my backyard

I'm pretty sure the HF freqs he is talking about are controlled by AirInc and aren't FAA. I think the actual HF antenna's are somewhere east of Fairfield.

I don't know offhand whether this is still in the FCC regs, but at one time it was illegal for airlines to use HF frequencies while in US airspace. VHF was required. So, there would be no HF SSB contacts between aircraft and FAA or other ground facilities within local airspace.
