Question What is an RDR

I saw that NAS in Fallon NV list and RDR tower freq. and an RDR, What is an RDR Here is the link where I found the info at Fallon NAS Airport Overview (Fallon, NV) [KNFL/NFL] | FlightAware

It is (likely) the frequency for the GCA, or Ground Controlled Approach controller. They include ASR and PAR approaches where a controller watches a radar scope and relays instructions to the pilot on the approach about course and glide slope guidance. They're pretty interesting to listen to if you've never heard one before.

Thank you K4DHR. My GRE-300 should be here sometime today will try to get FAS (https://www.cnic.navy.mil/Fallon/index.htm) but I live in Carson about 30 miles W.
with a small hill in the way.
