Wings and Waves Air Show in Daytona Beach

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University will be putting on the Wings and Waves Airshow, October 10th and 11th in Daytona Beach, FL. The show will take place over the Atlantic and will be centered in front of the Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort. The show will start daily at 11 am and admission is free. According to the website the Canadian Snowbirds will be performing. The website is still a work in progress but can be found at Wings and Waves Air Show over the Atlantic Ocean in Daytona Beach, Florida. A more detailed listing of performances can be found there. You can submit your email address to be added to the mailing list. It should present a great opportunity for scanning.

What are the Frequencies In Use?

Any one have a frequency list or know where it can be found?

You could try doing a generic search on this site for the individual performers - that would be a start. For example if the Blue Angels were scheduled to fly, do a search on Blue Angels for 2014 and you should come up with numerous hits.

I would guess that whatever airport is served by Daytona Beach would be the central control point for inbound / outbound flights, along with the local ARTCC (both of which are likely in our database). Any nearby mil bases would be worth checking to see who stations there before the show.

If anyone wants to start a wiki page on the subject it would be welcome. Then next year you have a ready made reference as a starting point. Don't forget to include any trunked system activity, low power itinerant, ect. in your freq searches. You never know what you might find
