Thanks for posting this info. If anyone else notices any frequency changes in their area, especially ARTCC sectors, I'd be interested in knowing about them.

Guy's our ARTCC admin post changes usually the same day they are recieved!!
These changes come straight from the FAA and not some fly by night list.

The FAA is really slow updating their data. There are ARTCC frequencies that have been in use for years that the FAA has not updated. The AFF list supplied by the FAA has lots of omissions and errors on it. The ARTCC admin guys here do a good job keeping their list up to date but they only show the changes for a few days making it hard to track what's changed. Any reports here, from actually monitoring the frequency, would be helpful.

The AFF list supplied by the FAA isn't used to update the files.
It's worse than the old ATA-100.

It seems as if they're still using 118.4

Anyone know at about what distance from MDW they switch to 118.4? I live in NWI Indiana and there is a constant stream of SWA planes flying low, heading west along a route that follows, roughly, US30. Do you know what frequency they switch from before checking in on 118.4? Could it be 127.8 (Crown Point BEARZ ARTCC Site)?

Thanks

I can confirm that MDW Approach is now using 128.2

Not sure when the change occurred, but it's now live.
