Default Flight Tracking Site Problem

Can someone go to this flight tracking site (Flightradar24.com - Live flight tracker!) and see if you have same problem I do? Click on any plane and then click on Cockpit View in the box on the left hand side. I’m getting lots of shimmering and breakup of the moving picture. This happens on both my PC’s. The site owner says no one else has complained.

However, if I click the switch under the picture and change to Aircraft View, the picture is stable with no problems.

What can be causing this? It almost looks like an anti-aliasing issue.

I see Cockpit View and Aircraft View to be the same clear picture.

It looks like that draws on Google Earth to provide the terrain - I wonder if your installation of it might need to be upgraded/uninstalled and reinstalled.

I have 2 laptops and 2 desktops, using Win XP and Win 7. I see the same problem on all 4.

umm... What browser are the above users using!
You guys only post "Win XP" or "Win7" but you guys leaves out the browser info

Try another browser to see if it will work correctly for you. Some versions of IE doesn't work good with FR24.

I'm using both IE and Seamonkey. Problem is the same with both browsers on all my PC's.

If all browsers, etc., in the same location have the same problem, then apparently the connection to the Internet is at fault. Maybe you don't have enough download bandwidth available.

Tried it from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada with Bell Canada connection and works flawlessly smooth.

Good luck,

What web browser should I use to watch Flightradar24.com?

Flightradar24 depends heavily on the use of Javascript/Ajax (Flash and Java is not used), and works best with fast web browsers like Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Opera. Internet Explorer is not recommended when using Flightradar24. There is no support for Internet Explorer 6.

Thumbs up Agree

Did not work with Windows 8 and IE9, but does with Chrome.

Windows 7 and Firefox here and at first the Google Earth Plugin failed. Downloaded and installed plugin update and the cockpit view worked fine.

I just tried the Opera and Chrome browsers. Same problem occurs. The google plugin works fine on all other test sites with all browsers.
