Much better than I thought and extremely well for a small smartphone. All I've done is connected the OTG cable with the dongle that's in the boot (trunk) turn on the app, accept the RTL driver and there's the signal. Spectrum viewing costs for the Pro version but once you've figured it's working the spectrum is not an immediate requirement. I added some memories with associated modes and bandwidths so now I just recall them for whichever airport or location I'm in.

This set up saves me installing a scanner and associated 12v wiring and on the face of it the power consumption is acceptable for an hours listening or so though I've not fully tested it to exhaustion yet.

Cheers,
Michael
