243.000 MHz...

Hello Friends:

A little while ago here in Puerto Rico I heard a very
faint, MAYDAY call on 243.000 Mhz I hit the scanne boton
and again MAYDAY on same frequency.
When I got to my office I called The US Air Force,they say there were going
to Investigate I called the USCG also and they say that their listening station
in Salinas,Puerto Rico pick it up ,and they say not to worry.

What do you guys think???

It sounds like the Coast Guard knows what is happening and the situation was already resolved or well on the way to being resolved.
