Default Alabama EMA

Just as information, there has been a great deal of recent activity regarding FCC licensing by Alabama EMA for their statewide repeater network. According to the EMA website, they are evidently planning to use the repeater network more in the future rather than SouthernLinc. All of the frequencies and PL codes are posted on their website: Alabama Emergency Management Agency - Home

Metrofire31,

Just yesterday afternoon I heard a test on the Elmore County EMA channel (458.650). Guess the timing was right as we have had a few severe thunderstroms the last couple of days.

Keith,

Metro,

What section of the website did you find the frequency information. I called myself looking for it but I have missed it so far.
I haven't forgot your request (Auburn area) just have gotten behind on things. Been busy with doctor runs and other family stuff.

Default Alabama EMA

Hey Steve! Hope you're doing well in Jacksons Gap. Try this link:

http://www.dhs.alabama.gov/pdf/Alaba...Plan_Final.pdf

It's actually on the State Department of Homeland Security website although I could have sworn that I found it through the EMA. Oh well - must be my age!! Enjoy
