Madison PD

I'm confused on how to monitor Madison PD. RR Database lists their frequency as simplex 800MHZ, but on the Huntsville DB it shows talkgroups for Madison PD. Can anyone tell me the best way to program their system? Not sure how to get talkgroups from a simplex frequency. I'm using a Uniden 996T.

Madison or Madison county?? I would enter them all, may have or are switching to the 800mhz TRS. or using the simplex for backup?

They use the conventional repeater (not simplex) for their main dispatch channel. To hear it, you only have to program the output frequency in your scanner.

They also use talkgroups on the Huntsville Public Safety Trunked System (TRS) for checking records, "channel 2", "common", etc... To hear those talkgroups, you have to program your scanner for the Huntsville TRS.
