Question Lee Co, ALA S-O East Channel

During my last couple of trips down I-85 in Lee County, I noticed that all of the traffic between cars & dispatch was on the east channel instead of 154.740-main.

Has something changed in Lee County?

155.71500 WPLS543 RM 186.2 PL LEESHRFF TCE Sheriff Tactical East

Thanks!!!

Default Lee Co, ALA S-O East Channel

Julian1 you are right I did not notice it tell you posted about it. I have also noticed that there doing alot of car to car on 155.01( Ch 2) instead of 154.7100(Ch 3) were they have always done car to car.
I do not know any Lee Co. officers any more that I can call but I call some other people I know that work for the county. I will post when I hear back from them.

Default Lee County SO

Hey Julian - good catch. I have a friend whose son is a Lee County Deputy so I'll see what I can find out. Just as information, if you are ever in the Auburn-Opelika area of a football home game Saturday, all of the law enforcement officers (state and local) operate on Lee County Sheriff Tac West - 152.405 (162.2)

Take care, Julian. You'd better call me when you're going to be in Atlanta so we can have lunch or coffee.

I know this is a old thread I am dragging up but I just was told today what happened.
The reason I was told they stop useing 154.7400 for dispatch some thing made the signal
weak and units in the north part of the county could not hear them. They switch to dispatching
calls to the Tactical East freq. They have now got 154.7400 fixed but are still useing Tac East
for dispatch and when they use 154.7400 they call it Ch. 1.
