Train Derailment Marbuary Al

There was a train that derailed last night sometime cause the track washed out the only there was a little bit of talk on the ASO Ch 155.07000 about locking down the area. They did not want anyone near it not even the fire dept. I went up to the raod block and was told that they had 42 cars crush up and that CSX will not let anyone near it. Has anyone head anything else.

I had a friend who was on scene call me Saturday and let me know about it. It occurred around the Co Rd 64 grade crossing. Apparently, the rain we've had washed out some of the roadbed. The engineer saw it and tried to stop but couldn't. I've been told that 42-46 cars of gravel derailed, but the engines didn't.

The SO has shut down Co Rd 64 on both sides of the grade crossing, and isn't letting anyone go down there, including the news media! The SO is planning on the road being blocked for 3-4 days (that was on Saturday.) They are also patroling the area pretty heavily.
