Athens Police Plain Speak
As of Oct 1 Athens Police are usiing plain speak for some of their radio chatter,instead of the ten codes,with all the adjacent counties using different 10 code sets,they have finally switched some to Homeland Security recommendations.For instance instead of 10-8,they say back in service,or 10-59,they now say,Escort.
