Default Albertville, AL 35950

I know that Albertville, AL (ZC 35950) uses the Motorola Type II Smartnet system but can anyone tell me if this is a digital or an analog system. I want to purchase a scanner but don't want to waste money on an analog if the system is digital. All replies will be appreciated.

Albertville is digital. Gadseden and Etowah county are also moving to digital soon, so you will be needing to get you a digital scanner.

it is my understanding that the system has rebanded long ago & what ( is) was in the RR DB is out of date.
