From the RR database there's this page for Houston County AL Houston County, Alabama (AL) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference and this page for the Dothan Public Safety P-25 digital system Dothan Public Safety (Project 25) Trunking System, Dothan, Alabama - Scanner Frequencies and their older analog LTR system Dothan Public Safety Trunking System, Dothan, Alabama - Scanner Frequencies

Hopefully that'll get you started with your search.

Welcome to the Dothan Area. I listen to Dothan and Houston County all the time.

You will need to use Dothan's P25 system to hear them. The only Dothan frequencies that are not encrypted are Police and Fire Dispatch. I don't remember the talk group ID numbers but i have locked everything else out. You will also hear Houston County EMA on Dothan's system but they usually do not have much traffic.

As far as Houston County Sheriff use frequency 454.625. Also Houston County Fire uses 453.200. Houston County Sheriff dispatches for all the towns in the county except for Ashford. Ashford has its own dispatch though I don't listen to them much and I don't remember the frequency.

Hopefully this will help.
