There should be several 2 meter repeaters active in the Anchorage area. When I was up there about 7 or 8 years ago, I did talk to a number of the hams on the repeaters. Don't ask me what the frequencies were. Just too many numbers to even try to keep track of in this gray matter of mine.

I would get on 2 meters and start asking questions there in Anchorage. If you can't get on the air, look up the ham clubs and see if you can go to some of the meetings to meet the boys there.

I did an extensive Google search including on-line Yellow Pages. I found nothing at all ham related, although there were several listing for two-way radio shops that are presumably commercial oriented.

There aren't all that many ham radio stores in CONUS for that matter! Even a city as large as Chicago has nothing. I have to drive to Milwaukee to reach the closest HRO.
