Smile Alaskan ALMRS and WinPro97

Was hoping someone could give this Wasilla fella a little guidance on using WinPro97 with my RS Pro97 Scanner when importing the Alaskan ALMRS data. Beg pardon, as I am a newbie to trunking.

1. Is the Radioreference Alaskan ALMRS data good to go or does one need to enter other data into the WinPro97 for it to work?

2. I see that the data file for entire Alaska ALMRS is to big to fit into one bank. Do you load areas (Boroughs) seperately in different banks?

3. Seems as thou the troopers have switched to ALMRS around here, although I can still hear their NCIC channel.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to tell you! But you need a Digital Scanner to listen to ALMR.
so you need a Pro-96 or one of the better Uniden scanners such as 996T or 396T.

But you can still keep your Pro-97 for like fire stuff/etc
