Default Channel Master Mutiband Radio

I have a Channel Master Multiband radio that I am trying to tune the VHF so I can receive NOAA weather, aircraft etc better. There is a 4 gang tuning capacitor inside here and I have no idea how to adjust the screws so that I can tune it better. Right now i turned some of the screws and it isn't receiving well at all. Where do I begin?

-It was receiving NOAA weather some but scratchy yesterday as well as air band
-it receives FM real well. I was able to adjust the screws for that capacitor fine. It has only two. One seems to center the frequency on the dial and other increases or decreases the bandwith.
