Talking Relm RP7500

I am looking at buying a Relm RP7500 or a Infinity Gear P1000. I was wanting to know if anyone has had any experience with either of the radios? Any and all comments are more than welcome!!!

I recently got a RP 7500, I have no complaints about the radio at all. If you have any questions let me know.

Do you have the pc programming software and cable? If so how well does it work? Where could a guy get the cable?

Yes, I got the software and the cable. The software is pretty easy to understand very similar to Motorola software as in the basic setup. I found the radio is every bit as loud and receives as well as my Motorola radios do. Most places online that carry the Relm products stock the cables.

Fireant: I am new to these radios. Can you change tones while on a channel? How many tones can you access on one channel? I am a wildland firefighter and need to access about 12 different repeaters depending on where we are without changing frequencies. Is the RP7500 capable? Thanks!
