GME Electrophone have introduced it's first communications receiver, the GME RX 1300. This retails for about $280 AUD or $200 USD, taking that into consideration and the features that it is "missing" and the price tag I would rather buy a Uniden 73XLT or something similar.

> Dual watch capability
It lacks a few vital features:
> Tone decoder
> Close Call
> Alpha Tagging
> Digital / APCO25
> Frequency input manually as opposed to PC programming

IMO they started in the scanning market with a real dud receiver, I do hope that any future releases they make combine some of the features I mentioned above. GME are a brand that I trust and would buy over most others but they need to improve.
