Default AudioVox GMRS7015RC with 450-470MHZ scanner....

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I decided against these as they are not good for recording, can't really change antennas, just not really want I am looking for.

I was looking at these, because my county is basically nothing but 450-470MHZ.

So when I realized that the AudioVox GMRS7015RC's covered these ranges, I started to really want them.

Obviously, I'm not looking for them to completely replace my scanners that I have now, but sometimes it's not easy to take my BR330T, due to it being somewhat big with the antenna, obviously making it harder to keep in pocket and plus the price makes you want to leave it at home when you can. Plus I often want it at home to do recordings of something.

So I was looking at these as a nice carry with all the time and in the pocket type scanner, plus I can use the FRS part if a friend in the area has one.

My only concern is, would there be any way to hook them up to a portable recorder (for random interesting things like major accidents) or to a computer, if you just want one frequency monitored and recorded?

I already have similar AudioVox WTs/HTs that seem like their headphone jack is not a headphone, but actually Mic, Phones, and Charge. I got headphones working one time, by actually hooking up a 3.5mm male to two female composite, then two male composite to 3.5mm female, only hooking up the red/right channel, though it obviously only produced one-sided audio.

Anyway, around my rigged setup?

EDIT: NEVERMIND, I decided against these as they are not good for recording, can't really change antennas, just not really want I am looking for.
