Post Bearcat 250 and a Regency HX 1500

Can anyone provide me with a name and telephone number of a repair outlet that can repair my Bearcat 250 that has a display that has gone out and I also have a Regency HX1500 handheld scanner that was given to me.It works great but the internial speaker will not work but when I plug a externial speaker into the speaker jack it has plenty of output.I would like to get the speaker repaired inside the Regency HX 1500.If anyone can provide mw with someone who can repair both of these radios I would appreceite any and all help.Thank You, Very Best Reguards,Tim DeLong W9NES *Monitoring all of Metro Indianapolis/Marion County and Central Indiana*

I have a feeling you're gonna be SOL on the 250, but the 1500 could be either a speaker, or a bad earphone jack (stuck open), either of which are relatively easy fixes, and any electronics repair shop should be able to perform it for you.

G&G is your guy. He did 3 old regency scanners for me last year. They have worked fine ever since I've gotten them back.

Finding another bc250 for a parts source might be easier. As mentioned, the display for it is almost non-existent.
