Hi all. I am from the UK and have been wanting to enter the world of radio scanning for some time now but never really got around to doing it. Well now I have a few quid in my PayPal account I have decided to purchase a second hand one later this week.
I am willing to spend up to £60 including p&p and was looking at two scanners that regularly sell on ebay for less than £50 second hadn These are the GRE PSR-216 and the GRE PSR-282.
Considering these are both in the same price bracket which is the better model? Don't ask me whay I will be listening in to because I have no idea. I just want something that is a good solid performer to get started with.
I know I can buy cheap and nasty ones for £20-30 brand new but that is not what I want.
Or if any of you lot can recommend another make/model for less than £60 second hand then I would be very grateful.
