Question 6m/2m/220m mobile antenna ???

I would like to know if there is such a thing as a 6m/2m/222m mobile antenna. I have a Kenwood 742A with these bands and I need a mobile antenna for it. I really don't want more than 1 antenna on the mobile. Is this possible. If not could I possibly make one out of a 2m/440/6m tribander. I know it must sound crazy but I really want to try it... Thanks, Marty martyrl@comcast.net

I'm not aware of one Marty, but this might be a good 2 antenna option - a Larsen NMO150 5/8 wave base loaded antenna for 2 works very well on 6 as a base loaded 1/4 wave. That would leave you needing an antenna for 222, but would give you great performance on 6 and 2.

Comet makes a model CF-142 splitter/combiner that allows you to connect one antenna below 150 MHz and another above 200 MHz and use them on one rig. Available from your favorite ham store.

I love 6 FM, especially when the band opens for E-skip!

This may be a possibility in terms of resonance but not sure if 222 will fit into that so if
you know of anyone who has one of these you could try it out before a purchase.
