Spring is here and ive got some scratch for some new antenna's..

Ive been looking for an HF Receive antennas,Portable that dont dent the wallet too much.
Im generally in the city, but travel also, thinking the loop will help with noise to a degree.
specs tell it will cover about 1mhz to 600mhz /1ghz

Yep..Got some radios..I can hear lotsa stuff...

Foxhunting by hams is generally done, for practice, on 2m/220 or 450 (hence the move to the amateur section), but this could be used to find sources of RFI in the VHF/UHF spectrum.

Antennas this small would be highly inefficient on HF or below, regardless of what the specs say, without some sort of matching or amplification

Most appreciated!
I did read the specs and had that feeling also.

Glad I asked before I purchased.
