Does anyone have a source for plans to build a dual band (2m & 440) roll up J Pole from ladder line? I've looked on line and all I can seem to find are plans for 2 meter antennas only.

You may already know. But you can buy the Ed fong DBJ-2 on eBay for 30 bucks. Comes with adapters etc and coax all tuned up.

Hmmmm? I have built one using the old TV lead-in, but have not ever seen one for 400 ohm ladder line. I am not sure what the TV line was, but certainly not 50 ohms. Maybe, same measurements and a little tweaking would work, who knows.

Good luck.

Nevermind my previous post... I need to read better. The link provide is only 2 meter, not dual band.

I used the Ed Fong roll-up many times and is a great value. Performs great on the antenna analyzer - spot on! He ships it with adapters to use it on both male/female SMA radios and BNC, plus an extra BNC extension coax.
