Default Using a TT4 for packet radio

Has anyone been able to set their tt4 up to use as a packet radio station?
I have set the TT4 to KISS mode but am not able to get it to communicate with any of the packet radio programs I've tried.
Any detailed info on how to set this up would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Are you configuring those packet programs to communicate with a KISS TNC? Are your COM port settings correct (port number, speed, parity, stop bits)?

It may seem like a silly question, but having done it myself, are you taking the Gender Changer out when you finish programming it?

And, have you asked "Byonics" if they know?

Yes, I am trying to use WinPack v 6.8 and have it set for KISS mode, just can't get it to do anything else. I run packet on a MFJ-1278 and a KPC3 so I am familiar with setups etc just can't seem to get this to work.
