Default Kantronics KWM 1200+ digipeater setup

Hello everyone! I am soon getting a KWM1200 and was looking for creative ideas for using it. Included with the TNC is a Motorola Radius 40w mobile programmed for APRS, as well as a 14a power supply. So, as it is, it's already setup as a APRS digipeater. I'm open to many suggestions for the use of this system or any combination thereof (handheld, mobile, base etc). Would this be a great combination for portable/mobile use for rural areas that do not have a lot of APRS coverage? Any comments or suggestions are welcome. I know there is a ton of digipeater information out there to research, and I have done my share of it, i'm just looking for something that might be discovered here.

Thanks! 73's
