Default FT-2900R Extended TX

Does the new FT-2900R offer the same easy access to extended transmit at the FT-2800M did with just holding down a few buttons and powering on or does it require getting inside the radio?

Does anyone have this information? I need to use my FT-2900 with MARS and need the mod.
