ADI mobile radios
Does anyone own any radios labeled"ADI?" I have a few of them, one for each ham band, 2M, 220mHZ, AND 70 cm. Just a few questions concerning mods and repairs.

Two antennas met on a rooftop--, The wedding was O.K., but the reception was great!

In the past I've had the ADI 440mhz. mobile and the ADI 600 ht. Does that count?

Yes, that will do fine. Just looking for mods for any of the three mono band radios. (ar-147, -247, -447)

There are no out of band mods for the 220mhz. model and the other's include the cap mod in the manual.

I have a 147. Its a piece of junk. Total, absolute crap. I've owned a good dozen radios over the years since I've been licensed and the ADI AR-147 is the biggest POS of them all. If you want to modify it for out-of-band transmit, you pop the top cover, clip the red wire (its the only one there, you can't miss it), and reset the radio.

I have a 247 and its also a POS/POJ - the receiver is the week point. The transmitter is ok.
