Default Problem with Yaesu FT-250R Set Mode

Hello All,
I have a Yaesu FT-250R Transceiver. I am trying to use the Set Mode to change the radio from Wide Band To Narrow Band. The problem is, when I press the F/L button and then 0 (Set) it only types a zero into the channel number. I tried to use the F/L button to access other functions and it did not work either. Any idea why the F/L button doesn't work?
James

Default Problem Fixed

Figured out that the F/L function key does not work in memory only mode. My brother had changed it to show only channel numbers, so i reset the radio and programmed almost 100 frequencies in again... Good to know for next time.

Exclamation RTFM

And you would have found that one does not have to "reset" the radio.

I find it to be a great radio. Small, loud volume output and remarkable quality of sound. Works well as a scanner or radio. I use mine as a scanner/radio to listen to railroad frequencies.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (BlackBerry; U; BlackBerry 9780; en-US) AppleWebKit/534.8+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/6.0.0.600 Mobile Safari/534.8+)

They are decent radios, I used to own a FT-150(predecessor to the 250), liked it, even with the top display, but I hated the speakermic plug. Other than that it was a solid little radio.
