Question Rumor: Chinese 80m through 70cm mobile

Heard some conversation over the air regarding a rumor that the Chinese will soon be coming out with an inexpensive 80 through 10 + 6m, 2m and 440 rig. Anyone have an update?

First off, please don't hijack a thread with off topic comments. I've moved your post to a new thread.

Secondly, people can say anything on the air or on the Internet, for that matter. If someone has some solid information, not rumor, that a Chinese manufacturer plans to bring such a radio to market, please post it.

I've not heard any rumors about this, but if you think about it, it's only a matter of time. Some of the Chinese radios coming over are pretty decent quality, and some is junk. Time will tell...

There is a Chinese mobile HF radio coming out called the "HF ONE MKII". It's a 100 watt mobile, but I think it's only 80-10 Meter.

Even the non chinese radios have components from china so I would be curious to see it perform.
