Icom: Icom IC 820H Memory Loss

I purchased a used Icom IC 820H radio and now having a problem with it keeping the memory. It sits for a few days and it forgets everything I programmed in it. The back up battery has been replaced and it still forgets. Anyone else have this problem and found out out how to fix it?

Clean battery contacts? Did resetting the CPU help?.. hold (MW) button and turn the radio on. Perhaps an email or call to SAR Technical Services, Inc. or Willco Electronics about your issue would be productive. Both received good reviews on eHam.net Reviews - Amateur Radio Equipment Repair

Radios that old probably have almost dead memory retention batteries.

Opps, he said he "replaced the battery". Maybe poor solder joint, or bad battery holder.
