Exclamation Stolen Radio Equipment List from Las Vegas AES Store

Burglary at AES Las Vegas
I received an email today, from a friend, with an attachment, listing several pieces of equipment that were stolen from AES Las Vegas, this past Saturday. We need to keep our eyes open for these items and report any attempts to sell them, to the Las Vegas Metro Police, or at least contact Luke, at AES Las Vegas.
Here is a list of the items stolen, and their serial numbers:
YAESU FT2000 100W HF/6M AC/DC DSP XCV 6K060072 Display radio
ICOM IC746PRO HF XCVR/6&2M/IFDSP/AT/MIC 001310 Display radio
ICOM IC7000 DLX MNI HF/6M/2M/440 XCVR 0501397 Display radio
UNIDEN BCD396T 3000CHPOC/TNK/SAME/DIG* Unknown
UNIDEN BC346XT POCKET SCANNER/TRUNKING Unknown
UNIDEN BC72XLT 100 CH POCKET SCANNER Unknown
UNIDEN BC95XLT 200 CH POCKET SCAN/800 Unknown
GRECOM PSR500 DIG TRIPLETRUNK HH SCANNER 001455 Display radio

Here's the contact info for LVMPD:
LAS VEGAS METROPOLITAN POLICE DEPARTMENT
3141 SUNRISE AVENUE
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA 89101
(702) 828-3111
pio@lvmpd.com
Sheriff@lvmpd.com
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department

Here is Luke's contact info, as was listed at the bottom of the email:
Luke Rohn
Branch Manager
Amateur Electronic Supply LLC.
4640 S. Polaris Ave
Las Vegas, NV 89103
Tel. 702-647-3114
Fax. 702-647-3412
AES Home page

Let's do the right thing here, and report any finding of attempted sales of these items. Remember, thefts like this drive up the costs to the rest of us. It's not AES who pays the final price, it's their customers. Theft by a few raises prices to the many good, honest customers. Let's help catch these lowlife's.

Serial numbers would be more helpful than model numbers.

As stupid as some crooks are these days, every one of those radios are probably on the same craigslist ad with a phone number

Exclamation Stolen Equipment Database

You maybe interested in this.

The Rig Register - The Amateur Radio Equipment Database - Stolen Equipment

If your radio equipment was stolen could you remember its serial number? Have you recorded it somewhere safe?

Would you like to notify people would might potentially purchase it? Have participating shops checking on repairs and 2nd hand purchases?

Sign up to The Rig Register, a free service, and record your equipment details in a safe and easy to find place. Your equipment can marked as lost or stolen for others to check.

The Rig Register isn't just for stolen equipment. Groups and clubs can use it as an asset register and a shared login between committee and leaders would allow access to the group's or club's asset list.

Many Thanks.

Question

What if the radio is missing the serial number sticker more specifically early to mid 90's (I think), Icom hand held? I know that bike licenses if removed can still be found on the bike. Do radios have this at all or any other way to get the serial number for it? And for others or future reference feel free to include all types and years. I know that there are newer ones that have it in the radio electronically.

Also is there a united states Stolen Equipment Database. And one that has listings from the mid to late 90's? I'll do a search when I get home but if someone knows list them all. I'll bookmark The Rig Register but it doesn't have what i'm specifically looking for right now, I checked the site out.
