Wink scanner/hf net

Anyone interested in starting a net for scanner/HF monitors? Maybe 40/20 meters during the weekend?

Hey Bob! It sounds like the old ANARC 40 meter shortwave net that covered the East Coast in the late eighties and the early 90's. I wonder where the rest of the gang are?

This comes up every couple of years. Somebody tries to organize an HF net, nobody checks in, conversation ends...until the next time somebody comes up with the same great idea.

Yeah, the original ANARC net died because of the internet (chat rooms are not subject to propagation), poor propagation, changes in net control, loss of interest - check all of the above and likely more.

I'm afraid it's an idea whose time has come and gone. 73 Mike
