Default Commercial radios rigs

With the new rules coming into effect with the commercial radios were are if any of the commercial dealer disposing their old radios? I do know you can find them on ebay, but I know the number on ebay does not justify the amount of radios you should see for sale on ebay. These would be great for echo link systems and IRLP, ect

the rules change becomes final 12am jan 1 2013. as we get closer to that date more will become avaiable and the prices should come down. if you watch closely you can get some dirt cheap. i am using some of the old moto's on 2 meters and 440mhz.

like i said in the other thread on this, radios taken in on manufacturer trade in promos must be returned to the manufacturer. they then destroy them.

we get a very few in that are worth even selling for parts. right now the majority of my customers are staying WB but buying a few replacement units at a time and replacing the oldest radios first. next year it will be a flood, but for now it is a trickle.

Here's one place to bid directly from government agencies (navigate to the appropriate category): http://gsaauctions.gov/gsaauctions/gsaauctions/

The GSA Auctions have provided me with enough parts to repair several Motorola HTX-5000 HT's that a few of them just needed the batteries calibrated and conditioned.... I recommend them.
