Caught this very interesting little gem on amateurradio.com.
Elecraft makers of the K-3 and other great radios has unveiled this QRP rig. All MODE and DSP. 10 watt.
Waiting to see what the price is compared to the Yaesu 817nd QRP rig. Looks good!

I am posting pictures as the the hosting site has been having issues, probably due to people over loading the site.....A K3 in your pocket | AmateurRadio.com

Hope there are some more interesting surprises shown this weekend at Dayton.

Another site had posted a price from Dayton at 700US, and then there is supposed to be a 100W amplifier for it to and probably a lot more $$

A friend just texted me from Dayton and said that he talked with a Elecraft rep and they are saying $799.00 area price tag. Said the rep said it will be available, just like other Elecraft radios ASSEMBLED and KIT form.
Said he held the radio and it is well built and solid and the unit on display was a functioning unit. There was a lot of interest in this QRP rig. Availability by years end.
No pricing on the AMP as of yet.

Yea, folks if the guys at ELECRAFT continue their tradition of outstanding rigs, this is going to be a WINNER!!!! Might be time to sell the FT817 and add a KX3 to the K3 here!!!
