KG Commander

How do I get the KG Commander to accept the *.tpl extension files from the ARRls Travel Plus.

Even though the Description for the ARRL Travels says it has the TPE files and import into the commander. When I save a file it has the tpl extension.

So Please help me with my thanks of COURSE.

For those who may not know what the KG Commander and what the ARRl's Travel Plus is. The KG Commander is a program the Wouxon Type Radios and the Travel Plus Is the ARRl's Repeater in Computer program forum.

So I ask again can or will some help me with these problems and of course with my thanks.

Dave might I suggest 2 solutions;

a. Find if the Wouxon you have has a Yahoo group - chances are someone there is having a similar issue

-or-

b. Use Chirp (it too is freeware) - it doesn't use the ARRL directory, it uses either RFfinder or RepeaterBook - and, as a bonus, it even has a minor capability to import from the RR database based on zip code, a little like Home Patrol. The RR import is not particularly complete, but you might see if RepeaterBook or RFFinder has what you need.
