Las Vegas Hamfest

Going to Las Vegas sometime this year and would like to plan my vacation around a hamfest, but I haven't been able to find any info anywhere of when, what, where, how. I have looked on the ARRL database but it has no info when I do a search for Las Vegas, Nevada.

Anyone have any info?

I dont think there are any hamfests in Las Vegas. Theres one coming up in Yuma, though.

I don't know of a hamfest in Vegas, but the Las Vegas Amateur Radio Club sponsors a swap meet the first Saturday of each month in the parking lot of Amateur Radio Supply. See www.aesham.com/lasvegas.hstml.

Feb 15-16 in Yuma.

The LA area has several monthly ham oriented swapmeets:

2nd Saturday at Cable Airport in Upland. Hardly worth bothering with unless you're local.

3rd Saturday at Chino Hills High School, in Chino Hills. Excellent.

Last Saturday of every month, TRW Swapmeet. Northrup Grumman parking lot, Manhattan Beach. Well worth it.

The Desert Rats hamfest in Palm Springs is canceled for 2013.

The ARRL convention is in San Diego in 2014.
