UHF Mil Air Antenna

I am wanting to make/buy a Omnidirectional receive antenna for MilAir 200-400Mhz. What would be the best type discone, collinear would it be easy to make.

Would this antenna be good anyone els have one

DPD Productions is owned by Dave "DPD1" who is a radioreference member. I've owned a number of his antennas throughout the years & They are just as good as some of my commercial grade antennas, if you purchase one, you will have made a wise choice.
