Some of us are dealing with systems like this one. For it, the DV1 is completely useless.

2000 channels? That would have been really impressive - 20 years ago.
The screen 'resolution' is pathetic if you compare it with any contemporary smartphone.
The large font for the whole MHz with a smaller font for fractions is a deranged design notion which should have been ditched long before it ever got to production.
At least it has VFO A and B, an essential feature for any base/mobile system which Uniden scanners are sadly lacking.
