Picked up an original AR-3000 up off Ebay for a good price, the chassis was screwed up as no one had the 2.5mm screws so they wallered the holes out to 3mm so switched everything to the new chassis and while in there replaced the dead memory battery with a new one in a coin cell holder.
While in the parts box came across some other parts from previous battery replacements on the AR-3000AB units. Have 2 boards that people can add to their radios if they would like to upgrade to an AR-3000AB unit, not sure why anybody would but here is the pesky CPU-UNIT sub pcb board picture.
(Hint Hint this is what you remove for unblocking)
