AR8600 RS232

Hi everybody.
I want to link my AR8600 with my PC running WindowsXP via RS232.
I connected them with a standard RS232 cable and an USB-RS232 adapter.
I send with success the commands.
The radio makes what I command to do, but the radio doesn't answer.
I don't receive any byte.
The cable is ok (I also tried other working cables).
Any idea?

In order for me to understand what you are trying to do, you're going to have to give me more information, such as what program/software you are using to send command(s) to the receiver. (if you are sending command(s) to the receiver successfully then I'm not sure what you mean the receiver doesn't reply/answer?)
