Do you hear something ?
Iam not

not yet
Mobile to Mobile is perhaps by knowing the input frequency
I have many frequencies in the area but are repeaters and I think many do not clear why it's getting very difficult
if remove some obsolete encoding in the firmware to gain space would be good hii

same here,

Yep, remove modes: alinco, P25, dPMR because these are not working in europe.
dPMR only Version 2 is working
versions 2a - 2c or 2+ chinees clones most used in Eu, are not working in DV1

Or much better idea
make 2 Firmware versions for those in Europe remove all crap not used
and firmware version for those in USA
But this is just thinking...... load.

P25 is used in France.
Alinco is used by Hamradio.
dPMR used by some commercial end user.
So no obvous need to have 2 different firware!

===============================
AMBE 2C is a different vocoder therefore AR-DV1 is not compatible.
Supported vocoder is AMBE+2.
Best regards,
AOR
===============================

Why not 2 firmware or 3 firmware ?
Or even make a FW per world region
No extra work, maby even better perform to remove non used modes

Simple choice for the user to load the particular FW just put in the SD Card and run.
How simple it be ?

TETRA

I do not receive anything even if I have many signals
with respect and no offense to anyone I think that the limits of this receiver have been achieved and its hardware is not able to do more
then you go to the sale before it is too late with a deep disappointment to spend so much and got more or less what you get with a dongle and linux + telive or dsd + or a receiver with a discriminator output from a few Euros with known limitations

Discriminator Output

If AOR have managed to get Tetra DMO working, and as they hint, may also do TMO, just as a firmware upgrade, then all credit to them.

I agree totally about the discriminator output.

Even back in the AOR3000 days they first released details of a mod that could be done, and later released the 3000A Plus with a socket.

Not providing that output for the AR-DV1 was a bad oversight. A HF aerial socket would have been good too.

Encrypted TETRA may be all but impossible to crack, but if the AR-DV1 had a discriminator output who knows?

We can only hope they at least release a mod, even if it needs to be done by a Radio Engineer.
