Probably the best place to find such files would be...

I'm curious, how do you tell what firmware and CPU version your 8200 has? Is there an easy way, or do you have to take the unit apart some how? Also what type of file are you looking for?

Mark

Smile cpu

if you use a software to program it is in the settings tab
Yahoo group has very little activity one or two posts a year
the files section has 4 files
I have a bank of fire freq's for my north jersey area, which i could post there, here or just email directly
if some one has files for their area they can upload to yahoo 8200 group or email them to me - can save time programing the freq myself if its an area i visit?
what say you guys

Default AR8200 Freq files for North NJ

I have tons of files for North Jersey. Police, Fire, etc.
I also have search results, for a lot of freq ranges, and Band scope captures.
I'll post or email. What ever you like.

Ray
