Default AOR8200 computer cable

Ugh! I managed to load my Butel software on my lapptop, but now discover that I seem to have lost the computer-to-8200 cable! Anyone have any suggestions on sources? HRO is out of stock (and charging a fortune!). I don't have the spec, but am wondering if it isn't just a standard serial cable of some sort?

get hold of the connector (AORUK has them AOR UK - PRODUCT DETAILS) and wire it to a USB-TTL adapter (around $10)

the same connector was used on the old HP Jornada 720 handheld pc, maybe you can find it as a spare or used on eBay

Bear in mind that the pinouts on the journada cable were not the same as the AOR cable. Check the ar8200 yahoo group for details of the cable colours and required connections (these changed slightly for the mark II and Mark III versions of the 8200).

Alternatively, see the AOR UK website archive page: AR8200 bulletin page
